Our Projects

Café Care

We are a diverse group of people that meet every Monday night at the Clayton Church of Christ.

We get together to meet people, to share stories and laughs and to support each other through the trials and difficulties that we all face. This is a Christian group that is focused on the local community and all who come there, do so for each other.

The group is open to everyone so if you would like to visit us, you would be more than welcome to do so. Life can be very difficult at times so if you feel you want to make new friends, or seek some help or support, then Café Care is for you.

Dixon House Neighbourhood Centre

Dixon House is a neighbourhood centre located in the heart of Clayton, in the City of Monash, Victoria, Australia. We have a range of programs and services that cater to the needs of those in the local community. Our hope is that this is a place where you can make friends, learn new skills, volunteer your time, and get support.

As a way of experiencing and showing God’s love, Dixon House aims to benefit residents of Clayton and surrounding areas through providing:

  • educational, recreational and welfare programs to foster learning, personal wellbeing and social connectedness

  • community development opportunities for individuals, groups, and organisations to collaboratively address needs in the local area

  • opportunities for volunteers to improve their skills and support their local community

Love Loud

Love Loud is an is an initiative of Clayton Church of Christ to love our community through practical help with no strings attached. Clayton Church of Christ has been part of the community for more than 70 years. We are a local church that embraces the community as our own, walking alongside stakeholders, seeking to make the city better. As part of our vision, we offer multiple forms of connections and support to our community to transform Clayton together.

Current Love Loud initiatives include:
